January 17, 2010 HKKC 153rd & 154th All Breed Championship Dog Show Results:

We showed 3 dogs in both Rings.  All 3 dogs were in the Utility Group which is the most competitive group in Hong Kong, with 57 dogs competing (the 2nd biggest group is the Toy Group with 36 dogs.)  We showed 2 Chow Chows, Tio (Open Male), Hammi (3-6 month puppy), and 1 Shih Tzu, Rocket (Open Male).  Chow Chows also represents the 2nd biggest breed entry with 10 Chows entered (biggest entry is Shiba Inu, with 13 dogs entered, also in the Utility Group).  Needless to say, Wondrous swept all the prizes for Chow Chow.

Tio, up against stiff competition, won Best of Breed in both rings, and took Group Two (Reserve Best in Utility Group) in the 154th Show Ring.

Hammi won 3-6 months Puppy Best of Breed in both rings.

June 2010 — We took the opportunity to show Miss Bean while we were in the U.S.  Miss Bean was entered into the Toy Specialty Show and came away with 4 Open bitch class wins and 2 Best of Breeds in a span of 4 days not 48 hours after arriving in the States!

May 16, 2010 HKKC Dog Show Results:

Tio, our male Chow Chow, up against one of the biggest breed entries, took Best of Breed in both rings, earning his HKKC Champion Title on top of his US Champion title.  He was also awarded a Group Two by Mr. Gordon Rual of the U.K. against the biggest and most competitive group.

Rocket, our male Shih Tzu, also won Best of Breed under Mr. Gordon Rual and proceeded to win a Group Three just behind Tio.

Peachy, our female Golden Retriever, won her Challenge Certificate from Mr. Gordon Rual.

Leo, a 3-6 month Chow Chow puppy we showed for a client, won Best Puppy in Group awarded by Mr. Gordon Rual.

Allie, our 3-6 month Golden Retriever, won Best Puppy in Group awarded by Ms. Sue Lynn Tong

May 2011 — We are very excited about our new Chow Chow puppy which is currently showing in the United States.  He has just received his U.S. Championship title at the young age of 11 month!  Click here to see more on Logo.

July 2011 — The July 31 Hong Kong Kennel Club all breed show was a very successful event for Wondrous Kennel.  We completely dominated the Golden Retriever breed in both rings. The breed, which drew the second largest entry (19 dogs in each ring), was very competitive to say the least.  Both Bullet and Peachy performed flawlessly under Man Yee’s handling and won their respective class and Challenge Certificate in both rings.  Having oust all of the competition, Bullet then went on to win Best of Breed in both rings.  Under the careful judging of Mrs. Phyllis Wolfish, Bullet also went on to win Best in Group.  In the other ring, Mr. John Peddie awarded Bullet with a Reserve Best in Group

Oct 2011— The Annual AKU & FCI HKKC Dog show was also a very successful event for Wondrous, despite us being out of the country at the time of the show.  Our handler helped us once again dominate the Golden Retriever breed in both rings.  This time, the breed drew the largest turnout at 18 dogs, but Bullet was still able to take Best of Breed in both rings and a Group Two
