Wondrous Kennel welcomes the latest addition to our golden retriever lineup.

BULLET

Sire: CH Summits The Titanic                                           Dam: BISS CH Annecy’s Summits Thief in the Night, SDHF

Bullet’s mother, Smuggler, was the #2 Golden Retriever (All Breed System) in the United States in 2008!!

Bullet has the sweetest and most adorable facial expression we’ve ever seen.  He has a wonderful stance which displays a lot of power and he is very well proportioned.  He arrived in Hong Kong on July 28, 2009 and immediately won 2 Best Puppy in Group on Aug 1st and 2nd!!  We look forward to working with Bullet and can’t wait until the next show when he is fully acclimated to Hong Kong!

We sincerely thank Mr Dave Noble from Annecy and Ms. Beth Johnson from Summit for their faith and trust in us, by sending over one of their best puppy!!

November 7 & 8, 2009 HKKKA Dog Show:

We showed only 4 dogs on both days.  2 Golden Retrievers, Bullet (6-12 month puppy) and Peachy (Open Bitch).  Our Chow puppy, Hammi (3-6 month puppy class).  As for Shih Tzu, we showed Rocket (Open Dog).

Rocket took Best of Breed both days.

Bullet won 6-12 months Best Puppy in Show on Nov 8.

Hammi won 3-6 months Reserve Best Puppy in Show on Nov 8, and Class on Nov 7

Wondrous Kennel welcomes another addition from the United States, a very special Chow Chow from Man Kou Chows!

Tio (BISS AM CH Man Kou Vindicator) is currently ranked as the #5 Chow Chow (Breed System) in the United States, and he’s only 17 months old!

Man Kou Chows is also home to the top blue dog in the U.S., Boz (BIS/BISS Grand CH AM/CAN CH Cross B’s Best of the Blues) was ranked the #4 Chow Chow in 2007 and #5 in 2008.  Be sure to check out Man Kou’s website!

Camille, thank you for visiting us in Hong Kong and loaning Tio to us.  We will take good care of him!

January 17, 2010 HKKC 153rd & 154th All Breed Championship Dog Show Results:

We showed 3 dogs in both Rings.  All 3 dogs were in the Utility Group which is the most competitive group in Hong Kong, with 57 dogs competing (the 2nd biggest group is the Toy Group with 36 dogs.)  We showed 2 Chow Chows, Tio (Open Male), Hammi (3-6 month puppy), and 1 Shih Tzu, Rocket (Open Male).  Chow Chows also represents the 2nd biggest breed entry with 10 Chows entered (biggest entry is Shiba Inu, with 13 dogs entered, also in the Utility Group).  Needless to say, Wondrous swept all the prizes for Chow Chow.

Tio, up against stiff competition, won Best of Breed in both rings, and took Group Two (Reserve Best in Utility Group) in the 154th Show Ring.

Hammi won 3-6 months Puppy Best of Breed in both rings.
