London Fashion Week Men's Highlights

Carrie Coco is a fashion and lifestyle blogger from London with a love of haute couture, bright colours and coffee. Here's her guest post coverage and report of the men style occurrences at London Fashion Week.

London Fashion Week SS13 is underway – so we take a sneak peak at the key men's fashion trends we are set to see strutting down the catwalk this season.

Nasir Mazhar

Young fresh designer Nasie Mazhar breaths a breathe of life into S/S13 collections. His focus is on wearable, urban fashion, heavy textures, caps with a 90s colour pop feel.

J.W. Anderson Men

The focus for the J.W Anderson S/S range is adding feminine layers, textures, prints and patterns. Taking masculine, edgier styles and mixing them with bold prints, delicate textures and materials.

Richard Nicoll

Richard Nicolls 2013 SS Collection is crisp, wearable and modern. Smart tailoring and coordinated colours result in a modern, sophisticated male look.

Katie Eary

One of my favourite collections of the year, Katie Eary takes hot pinks, purples, pastes and florals and makes them current, masculine, hard hitting and edgy. The futuristic materials and silhouettes brings these floral prints into a new season – teamed with heavy trainers and glasses results in a collection which brazenly smashes through the barriers of men’s fashion.

Topman Design

High street men’s fashion Gods Topman have had a presence on the runway for many years now – and continues with the ethos of breaking away from the neon. This collection is all about 80s inspired oversized tees, neon brights and knee length shorts.

YMC

This collection from YMC is preppy, cool and wearable. Retro inspired think 70s inspired USA college days strutting stylishly down UK streets this summer. Textured blazers in muted shades teamed with light chinos and neutral shoes.
